Terms of use
The rules of the service, written to be read. They apply as soon as you create a workspace.
The service
Client Ledger keeps and organises the exchanges tied to your client projects, and helps you spot requests that fall outside what was agreed. The service is provided as the features stand when you subscribe.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for how your workspace is used. You must have the right to import the content you add, and obtain the permissions needed from the people concerned.
What the service is not
Scope analyses and estimates are decision aids. They are neither legal nor accounting advice. Answers recorded on approval pages constitute a timestamped operational agreement, and are not presented as a qualified electronic signature.
Subscription and payment
Subscriptions are monthly or yearly, payable in advance, excluding tax. Renewal is automatic until cancelled. You cancel from your settings; access continues to the end of the period already paid for. Periods already started are not refunded, save where the law provides otherwise.
Availability
We take reasonable steps to keep the service reachable, without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability. Planned work is announced when it is likely to interrupt the service.
Liability
Our liability under the service is limited to the amounts you paid during the twelve months preceding the event. No limitation applies in cases of gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or where the law forbids it.
Termination
You may close your workspace at any time. We may suspend an account for a serious breach of the acceptable use policy, after telling you, except in an emergency. In every case, exporting your data remains possible before final deletion.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers resident in the European Union keep the benefit of the mandatory provisions of their country of residence.
